Sometimes words just aren't needed. These are the moments I cherish deeply, to see one of my precious angels dreaming innocently in their sweet slumber hugging onto their prized "FlufFlah."
PS- Al and I are "VBS Rangers" to a bunch of 6th graders this week so put us on your prayer list. haha. Just kidding! We are enjoying it but it's whooping us!
Sweet photo. And I feel for you with the VBS teaching of the 6th graders. Did I tell you about the time I shattered my patella..on the last day of VBS...trying to beat a 12 year old's obstacle time during recreation rotation??? Yep, surgery and a real cool scar came along with being the teacher that year.

How can your heart not break when you lose a loved one, or when a child suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet gets hit by a car? But broken hearts are what give us strength and understanding and compassion. A heart never broken is pristine and sterile and will never know the joy of being imperfect.
Parents rejoice when their children turn out well; wise children become proud parents. So make your father happy! Make your mother proud! Proverbs 23

About My Blog
Hi! I hope you enjoy the adventures of my fascinating family of 5! My loving and amusing husband Alex is my best friend. I have 3 beautiful girlies! Sweet Clara Paige is our oldest who is 8. Maggie and Gracie are our adorable twins who are both 7 going on 17. It's no wonder I've nicknamed our family the Hicks Circus. Add our Dog Kelsey and we certainly have a 3 ring circus on our hands and I wouldn't have it any other way!
