And more Disney.

Ok I've been sick so I've laid off the blogging but here are pictures from our Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM) day! Here we are under the Larger-Than-Life Magic Hat!!!
The High School Musical performance was great and went over really well with the girls, see below!!
They loved watching the group perform songs from one of their favorite Disney movies.

Here is a shot from the Playschool Disney shows. It was really cute but you had to sit on the floor. Great for kidos not so great for aging mommies and Pappys. Nana sat on the sidelines for this one.
Here's Gracie watching the Playschool Disney performances. They just loved seeing their morning-time buddies from their favorite shows: Handy Manny, Tigger & Pooh, The little Einstens and of coarse Mickey and friends from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!!

And it wouldn't be a trip to Disney without seeing the Mouse himself, Mickey!! Gotta Love him!!

Epcot Day

More DISNEY!!!!

Here we are in LegoLand as I call it in Downtown Disney's Marketplace. It was the very first thing the girls did after we got there.
I would like to take a moment and mention that it must be Michele & Alex relative month in Disney also. My cousin Courtney and her family were there the week before us celebrating little Lawson's 1st birthday, my other cousin Jamie and her whole family were there the same time we were and today Al's sister, Wendy, is leaving for the World with her husband and son. Too funny huh??
Here's my girls in front of the Lego shark crab and fish. They were amazed and so was I that they can make these things out of little Legos.
The twinkies huggin on Goofy at the fun little spurting fountain at our resort. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort in the 90's building. It was so much fun. Everything Disney is so over the top. The front of our building was a gigantic laptop computer.
As if Disney World isn't enough of a treat for my girls, me and mom had a few suprises up our sleaves. After the girls got back from eating at the resort food court the first night mom had their brand new PRINCESS nightgowns laid out for them. They loved them and were pleasantly surprised!!!
And here are my sweeties in front of the magical Cinderella's Castle. They were amazed at the castle and how pretty and big it was. Like the twins cute Minnie Mouse pants?? They actually were some that MeMe found at a Kelly Kids clothing sale. Lots of people commented on them. But the girls got too hot by the end of the day so we changed them into sun dresses.
Well, much more to come soon. now, off to work for me!!

Well we actually came back home from the Happiest Place on Earth but it was hard. We had an absolutely wonderful time but I'm pooped. The looks on my baby girl's faces were just priceless every time they saw something new. Here's just a glimpse of just the first day. I'll post more over the next several days for you all. Enjoy and....See Ya Real Soon! I'm going to bed.My baby girls LOVE Cinderella!

Nana & CP on the Magic Carpet Ride. Notice Pappy and Uncle JaJa in the background. We're all just kids at heart!
THE Cinderella Castle! Mags wanted to know where Cinderella was in the Castle. I overheard her daddy tell her that Cinderella was in there primping and brushing her hair. How funny! Good one Daddy!

Em's Wedding Weekend.

One of my very dearest friends in the world, Emily Clemens (now Bonham) was married last weekend in Montgomery. Emliy and her sister Julie are probably the closest things I have to sisters. It was all so sweet and beautiful. I did not get a great picture of Em in her Wedding dress though. Sorry Em. Alex's mom and dad kept the twins for us. Thanks Mary and Earl. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Here's one of me and Al at the Rehearsal Dinner. It was at an old Montgomery eating establishment named Noble's. The food was excellent. And so was the company.
Me and Em. Our friendship goes back longer than I really can remember. We have some really great and funny memories together. Love you Emily.
This is me and Jules, (Julie). The Maid of Honor and Emily's sister. Love you too!
Here we are in a little corner of the church. It was a beautiful Episcopal Church with lots of history. I actually got to read a couple of scriptures in the wedding. That was new to me and very interesting but I think it went wonderfully and Alex says I did great! Glad to make my man proud. HeeHee.
The happy couple leaving the church. Emily and Pembroke Bonham. Pembroke is a very enchanting and friendly guy that I know will take care of my Emily.
CP posing pretty in the rose gardens where Pembroke's mom's ashes were scattered several years ago. It is a very special part of the church and especially peaceful and pretty.
Me and My Clara posing for a picture.
Me and my honey in the roses.
And finally a picture of the hilarious dance CP decided to do as we walked after the wedding to get our stuff. Not sure what got into her but it was a cute little cross between dancing and cheering. I wish I could have video taped it for you.
Over all everything went wonderfully and was a great weekend. God bless you Emily and Pembroke.
FYI-Al's sister Wendy had gall bladder surgery today and is fine but I'm sure could use a few prayers sent her way!
We leave for Disney on Sunday and can't wait but also keep us in your thoughts that we have a safe trip.

Happy Birthday Dear Pappy!!!

Happy Birthday Dad/Pappy!
Ok it has occurred to me that I must take lots and lots more pictures of my dad with my girls. This pittiful picture not only goes back to our house in Tuscaloosa, it goes back to HALLOWEEN. That is unacceptable.
Anyway, Daddy I love you very very much. No daughter has a more loving, giving and patient dad. No grandaughter could be luckier to have such a wonderful and special Pappy!
Hope your Birthday was the best!!

One Flaw in Women

Since it is Mother's Day Week I wanted to print out an email my aunt sent to me. It is wonderful and so honest and true if you've ever thought about it.
Happy Early Mother's Day Everyone!
One Flaw In Women
(you will see what it is in the end)
Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in. They stand up to injustice.
They don't take 'no' for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love. They have the compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have vital things to say and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN, IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH
